Direct Vs, Indirect Characterization

Today in class you learned about the difference between direct and indirect characterization. Choose at least one strong example of each from tonight's reading. Include the quote, the title of the vignette it was found in, and the page number. Follow this by commenting on the characterization. What struck you? Why was it strong? Why was it effective? Please include a picture and or video to represent your entry as well as a well developed paragraph. Remember to use proper punctuation and spelling. No text speech please!

Welcome

Welcome to Our Reader's Response Blog. Together we are going to climb the wall of discovery! Ok, very cheesy introduction, I was desperate to use this picture of my students and me climbing the Great Wall of China. Which is a perfect introduction to your first blogging assignment.
Assignment One:
1. Create a blog on bloggers.com using your school gmail address
2. For your first entry include a picture of yourself doing something you are proud of for me this was traveling with students. Write a short paragraph describing the picture.
3. Send the working URL to me via my email sbarnes@hightechhigh.org
4. Become a follower of my blog
